I have sliced cabbage, bacon tomatoes and lettuce so far.

Get this instead of the model below. The smaller model is very slow and really seems to have to work hard to slice home made bread. This model is better, but still has 'last slice' issues where it gets caught in the gap. The 'guide' should be something better designed than a motor housing.

Good quality, works great. I have been slicing meat for jerky and sandwiches. Great value for the price. It is very stable on the counter, it doesn't slip. Blades are sharp and cut cleanly. Safety features are great. It's easy to use and clean up is quick and simple.
