Worked as advertised , just did up about 5 lbs of Moose meat into Jerky Slices and it worked flawlessly. Freezing the meat first was the key to success .
At first I thought ok not bad tearing up my meat but I get some slices so ok let's give it a chance. I cooked up some chicken breast's and put in refrigerator for 24 hrs., just tried to slice and the chicken moves around and shredded my chicken. The suction cups don't stay connected so I'm having to hold the slicer firm up on the little plastic meat holder and watch shredded chicken happen. I was getting meat behind the blade as well.
Personally I'm upset that I paid that much for something that doesn't work good at all....
My husband loves this meat slicer. He has used it to slice smoked bologna and cheese and we made a party tray for his work. The food was gone so quick and everyone loved it.
Kinda hard to store. Assembly is not easy
I ordered this to cut my sourdough bread. This grips the surface properly and doesnt move while cutting. It was very easy to install and adjust the thickness of the slices. The design also makes it safe and it is easy to clean. I am happy with the product.
I love this!
Excellent price - money saver.
Great fit for kitchen
Espectacular me encanta nvanto esta rebanadora fue muy prctica
Works well. Not super heavy.
It works, and i got very thin slices successfully. I made 2 lbs of deli meat and ran it through and basically it was fine. Also a block of cheese.
Cleaning it is difficult, will take more time to clean than do your cutting. The bits of food get everywhere. There are some areas you literally cannot reach. I had to fold up a piece of paper to get into the crevices and push out the food as well as use a brush to brush it all off. You'd best clean it immediately after use. Even the cleanest cuts on the block of cheese, I still got bits falling into small cracks and crevices. This issue alone is almost worth returning it, like it's almost not worth it. But I'm going to keep it because I think overall it is fine. Honestly going to have to go to the dollar store and find a brush and store it with this thing, you're going to need it.
If you do use it, i suggest always turning it off if for any reason you need to put your hands ANYWHERE that is not on the handle that pushes the food or the handle that adjusts the thickness. Turn it off first before putting you hands anywhere else. I brushed my hand on the blade once and realized I could have had an accident.
It's perfect. Very light height. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Ive used it for homemade bread and meat so far. Has a good variation of sizes to choose from.
I found this unit super disappointing. Im a professionally trained chef and I couldnt even get this thing to slice bread evenly, it butchered my smoked Gouda, and then couldnt cut through my prosciutto. The blade doesnt spin nearly fast enough for anything dense. Its a cute little machine but doesnt stand a chance against anything I need it for.
It works for cutting bread.
Bought it to slice bread and it works a charm. Just a slight push and it slices through dense breads easily. Have not tried it on hard breads yet but I very happy with the performance so far. Also it is easy to clean.
So far so good, Ive only used it once but it worked well and wasnt hard to get the hang of using it. For the price, Im pretty happy with this.
This item works great . Very quite and not builky and can handle job of cutting all kinds of meat
Buenos
Not really good slices, but it works well for its price
works great but back plate is too flexible, bends when forcing meat against it, making upper part of slice slightly thicker
No this isn't for a commercial kitchen. No you can't cut frozen meat. However, we use this to cut before we dry. And then slice thin after drying. Our biltong is just as good as you'll find in southern Africa!
Product as described for effective digestion and gut health, blades are sharp cuts very thin and pretty easy to use and clean decent quality for price thank you.
Slices vegan meats well. I would recommend to anyone who makes vegan deli meats
Great, its stable. I love this thing.
Very compact meat slicer
This is great, really wish I could put it in the sink and spray it down. Clean up is pretty intricate
Works as it should
