The Domestic Multimedia System is starting to be used in 30,000 vehicles in Europe.


Developed by Turkish engineers at DAIICHI's R&D Center in Bursa, the domestic in-car infotainment (multimedia) system comes to life in FIAT's all-electric 500BEV Action model.


Ömer Tunç Akdeniz, General Manager of DAIICHI Electronics, stated that with the “Smart Radio” project, they have developed an innovative alternative to high-cost systems designed specifically for each vehicle, and thus, they have obtained an advantageous solution for end users.



Thanks to this new system developed by the DAIICHI R&D team, all the features of traditional multimedia systems are offered with a vehicle-specific application installed on a personal mobile device. At the same time, while the number of in-car screens that threaten driving safety is reduced, the changing needs of users with the rapidly developing technology are met in a short time with mobile application updates.


R&D studies in Bursa find place in world markets


DAIICHI Electronics, which was established in 2002 with Turkish capital, develops in-car electronic systems, especially infotainment systems, in order to increase the comfort and driving safety of drivers and passengers, and to provide them with a more enjoyable journey.

DAIICHI Electronics won the Commercialization of Innovation award in the SME category at the 19th Innovation and Creativity Awards organized by the Turkish Electronics Industrialists Association (TESID) with its screenless, in-car infotainment system that can be controlled with smartphones and tablets.


DAIICHI R&D Director, Dr. Emrah Rüyaklü stated that they are proud to compete successfully with global brands in the field of in-vehicle OEM multimedia and navigation systems and to announce the name of Turkey with the projects they have undertaken; stated that they are very honored that the product they developed was deemed worthy of TESID's Innovation and Creativity award.


Thanks to the innovative in-car infotainment system, which is controlled by smart phones with IOS and Android operating systems and offers wireless connection; He stated that applications that meet daily user habits such as digital music platforms such as Spotify, digital radios and navigation are easily accessible. You can control the multimedia system with your voice while driving; he said that in this way, they bring drivers together with a safe driving experience without taking your eyes off the road.


Stating that every idea is given importance at DAIICHI in order to keep the innovation culture and environment alive and continuously improve it, R&D Director Dr. Emrah Yuruklu; He said that they developed AutoSpice compatible hardware and software in order to offer the best solutions in line with customer demands and market needs at the DAIICHI R & D Center located in Uludağ University ULUTEK Technology Development Zone.
